In our clients' words

Eugénie is a powerhouse in commercial law! Her attention to detail, and fierce advocacy set her apart. She consistently went above and beyond to protect my interests with precision. If you want a lawyer who fights for you with tenacity and grace, she’s the one!

Ayman K.

Eugénie is the reason we felt ready to sell. We needed the full commercial stack before we could go to market, customer terms, privacy, the data agreement, the subscription contract and she stayed in it with us until we were actually confident to put it in front of customers. Dedicated, sharp, and an A-player. If you are taking a company to market and you want counsel who treats that as her job, work with her.

George T.

Frequently asked questions

It depends on what you need, but you won’t be guessing. Every matter is quoted as a fixed fee or monthly retainer, agreed in writing before any work starts.

Yes. Contract review is one of the most common things we do. We review supplier, customer, partnership and investment agreements, explain the risks in plain English, flag any unfair terms and point out the changes worth negotiating before you sign.

Most contract reviews are turned around within 5 business days. We’ll confirm the timeframe along with your fixed fee before we start, and we can prioritise reviews when a deal is time-sensitive.

Templates can be a starting point, but they rarely match how a business actually trades, and the gaps usually surface at the worst possible moment. We can review a template you already use, or draft terms around how you actually operate.

If you use standard form contracts with consumers or small businesses, very likely yes. Since November 2023, unfair terms have been illegal and can attract significant penalties, and in June 2026 the Government announced plans to increase them. We can review your terms and fix any clauses at risk.

Yes. We advise businesses across Australia, the United Kingdom and the European Union, including those trading across borders or expanding into a new market.

Yes. A monthly retainer or fractional legal counsel suits businesses that need regular contract reviews, negotiations and day-to-day advice as they grow.

Book an initial consultation and describe the issue in your own words. We will tell you where it sits and what the next step looks like.

Tell us early.
We’ll take it from there.

Every enquiry receives a reply within one business day, with a fixed-fee quote.

Slow contracts lose good deals. Ours don't.
